Manchester City's championship at the Etihad Stadium in 2012 was a particularly dramatic event, as they clinched their first title in 44 years in the final minutes of the season, defeating Manchester United.
It was an exciting season with Manchester City and Manchester United battling for the title until the final matchday. On the last day, Man City was level on points with Man United and needed to win at home against Queens Park Rangers while Manchester United faced Sunderland away.
In the dying minutes of the game, Manchester City trailed 2-1 and needed two goals to win the title. In stoppage time, they managed to equalize, and in the 92nd minute, Sergio Agüero scored the decisive goal, crowning Manchester City as champions.
The game went down in history as "Aguerooooo!" and became one of the most dramatic moments in English football history. It was an unprecedented triumph for Manchester City and a bitter defeat for Manchester United, who lost the title in the final minutes.
